Mid afternoon on a springlike Sunday. Comfortably busy with drinkers. The friendly barman talked me through the beers:uncharacteristically I opted for craft keg served from some impressive plumbing of the glaze tiled barback.

The pub is found in Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 9AB.

A handsome brick fronted former coaching inn in the High Street of this Castle dominated town. The Tap occupies space within the left of the entry arch: The Norfolk Arms occupies the bulk of the premises. I'm not sure if it is all one business, though The Tap is a showcase for the Arundel brewery.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
