Late afternoon and empty we soon filled the place up. Well organised for our visit we had rapid and efficient service.

The Holt in High Street has a cosy bar at street level with a fine dining restaurant upstairs, both smartly decorated and with plenty of exposed wood. The kitchen is in full view of the clientele. A lunch menu of tapas and home-smoked food is available in the bar. Independently owned by two sons of the Otter Brewery family, the Holt has won Gastro Pub of the Year and Taste of the West and is also currently holder of two AA Rosettes.
