Been a while since I've been here. It was busy inside and too windy to eat out so we didn't staylong.

Ashover - Littlemoor Citra4.10GoodPale gold. Hint of egg. Light lemon citrus bite. No real lingering bitterness. Nice.

Beautifully situated pub on the lip of the Monsal dale in Derbyshire. Generous publican allows drinkers to take beers out of the pub to sit on the benches overlooking the old Monsal Viaduct - a must! Having said that, the beers don't seem to need the help of the stunning surroundings - they're excellent in their own right.

Belhaven - Caledonian Deuchars IPA3.80ExceptionalGenuinely fantastic and a real surprise to me. Only ever been good (at best) before now. Wonderful.
