A good stop for a pleasant lunch. The roaring log fire was picturesque, but not exactly necessary in mid-June.

A substantial, multi-roomed, country pub. Established in 1597, and rebuilt in its present form in the mid-seventeenth century. Has also traded as the Boleyn Arms. Rear garden. Conveniently adjacent to the car park for Hever Castle. There are five handpumps on the bar.
