15 Jul 2024 (Philip Pirrip)
Mid evening visit for the cutting of the CAMRA 50th anniversary (this very day) cake. An enjoyable and well attended event.

360° - Tacoma | 3.90 | Not Tried
New Bristol - Bristol Bitter | 4.00 | Not Tried
24 Dec 2023 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit on past advertised closing time but not until the revised one.
Kent - Prohibition | 4.80 | | A very acute bitterness |
Tiny Rebel - Sleigh Puft Triple Chocolate Nougat Marshmallow Porter | 5.20 | | Full flavoured with unexpected tongue rasping bitterness to boot |
Only With Love - Firecracker ESB | 5.20 | Not Tried

Evening visit until close.
Oakham - Citra | 4.20 | | Best condition of Oakham Citra I have had in a long time |

Glasshouse - Koyo | 4.50 | Not Tried
02 Mar 2023 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit. Just a few in but they were all chatty.
Bristol Beer Factory - Milk Stout | 4.50 | | Probably the very best of this ale I have had anywhere |
Tiny Rebel - HANK | 4.00 | | No fan of Tiny Rebel but this had intriguingly floral "tropical" flavours |
Wantsum - Imperium | 4.00 | Not Tried
10 Jan 2023 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit until close. Only 2 other customers in but immediate conversations broke out. Must visit more often.
Bristol Beer Factory - Fortitude | 4.00 | | Nowt wrong with this one |
Brew York - Tonkoko | 4.30 | | Tasty, excellent condition, good enough to want another |
Gun - Scaramanga Extra Pale Ale | 3.90 | Not Tried
11 Aug 2019 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit until 9pm close. Good banter about the Plumstead Common "Idlers" group of local pubs and what this new house should be - someone said The Plum Tree that was never stoned.
Big Smoke - Underworld Milk Stout | 5.00
Oakham - Citra | 4.20 | Not Tried
Tiny Rebel - Cwtch | 4.60 | Not Tried

02 Aug 2019 (Philip Pirrip)
Mid evening visit. Busiest I have seen it so far. Have concluded from noise and voices echoing that noise baffling on ceiling or walls is required here. Someone brought some chips in to eat at a table, time to move on.
Anspach & Hobday - The Pale Ale | 4.40 | | Cool and refreshing |
Mad Squirrel (formerly Red Squirrel) - London Porter | 5.00 | Not Tried
One Mile End Brew Co. (formerly Mulligans at the White Hart and then WH Brew Pub) - Mango & Cash | 4.80 | Not Tried
26 Jul 2019 (Philip Pirrip)
Mid evening visit.
Husk - IPA | 4.70 | | Slight haze. Initial promise dissipated a bit. Good to see an English style bitter with no citrus |
Salopian - Hop Twister | 4.50 | Not Tried
Bristol Beer Factory - Milk Stout | 4.50 | Not Tried
One Mile End Brew Co. (formerly Mulligans at the White Hart and then WH Brew Pub) - Mango & Cash | 4.80 | Not Tried
22 Jul 2019 (Philip Pirrip)
Mid evening trip, my first here. I did notice that a majority of newbie customers who seemed uncertain what to order were offered samples of keg rather than cask beers.
Wiper and True - Pale Ale Kaleidoscope - Simcoe Mosaic Citra | 4.20 | | Could have done with more condition / natural carbonation but good on taste |
One Mile End Brew Co. (formerly Mulligans at the White Hart and then WH Brew Pub) - Mango & Cash | 4.80 | | Murky as a scrumpy. Little if any sweetness from the fruit. Poured quite flat and with no natural carbonation |
Bristol Beer Factory - Milk Stout | 4.50 | Not Tried
Burning Sky - Plateau (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | Not Tried
Arbor Ales - I Speak for the Trees | 5.00 | Not Tried
