Two handwritten signs at the entrance warned us that the toilets were for patrons only, and we couldn't eat our own food. Good job we had no intention of falling foul of the rules. Only one cask beer on, but it was in very good condition. We sat out the back by the Martello Tower and watched elephants from the amusement park next door sail over our heads (nearly)

Late afternoon visit, right by the Wave bus stop, my first here. Real ales from 3 handpumps and from gravity dispensed casks in a cooled cabinet behind the bar. Lilley's ciders in box and a backlit line of 24 gins. The Guv here knew my SE London parish like the back of his hands having been brought up there, we even shared a doctors' surgery!

Sunday lunchtime 1pm - just opened but filling up nicely. Bit bigger than I assumed from the front - three separate areas plus a garden. Friendly welcome.

A wonderful addition to the real ale scene on the Marsh, with friendly and enthusiastic people behind the bar. Beers are served from a cooled room with the casks stored vertically and served by handpump using syphons. I was informed that it was originally intended to use a stillage but the builders got the measurements wrong. The guv informed me that he wants to stock more dark beers but is having difficulty with supplies in the summer. A good micropub.

Micropub that opened in High Street on Saturday 3rd August 2019. Real ales and ciders sold and the venue invites patrons to bring in food from nearby cafes and fish and chip shops. Real ales dispensed by 3 handpumps and any more in a fridge cabinet with gravity dispense. Ciders on gravity dispense from a fridge cabinet. Very handy for the local bus stops and the regular Wave bus service. Dogs not permitted.

We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 9 different beers and tried 5 of them.
