Mid afternoon friendly welcome and quiet just a couple of other small groups dotted about in the spacious garden area. We sat at the mid level shaded area where orders were taken via a QR code link and arrived shortly after.

Mid afternoon fairly busy and friendly welcome in this community run proper drinkers pub. We chatted to the knowledgeable barmaid about the local pub scene. Tasters offered without prompting.

The Garibaldi is a local community pub run by Friends of The Garibaldi, a group formed to save the existing pub and re-open it as a community pub. The pub itself has stood on Mill Street for over 150 years and has always been a place for people from all walks of life to come together and socialise over a drink. Friendly, local feel whilst introducing facilities which the whole community can benefit from. These include, a community garden, coffee mornings and more.
