Four of us met up here for a meal and an unwise mix of grape and grain! Not overly busy but the service was excellent with attentive friendly staff made it an enjoyable experience.

Mid evening the bar was very busy with many practicing their false loud laughter and that's not including the screeching women. Welcome to Ashford!
BeerABVScoreNotes
Goacher's - Fine Light Ale3.70GoodFirst pint was sour but in fairness to the barmaid the barrel was changed and a few pints were pulled off to ensure my final enjoyment.
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00AcceptableNot quite the Harvey's expectations as rather toffeeish.

Very busy on a Bank Holiday Sunday lunchtime.A large group of us met for a meal in the restaurant. I was impressed with the little bar at the front, but was unable to tarry.

Early evening. My wife suggested it. Not my usual type of pub but very well done out, mainly as a diner. The front bar had a good feel to it, candle lit tables, a (probably fake) wood burner and a very smart red brick herringbone floor.

Goacher's - Fine Light Ale3.70AcceptableNot very lively.

Mid to late afternoon and busier than expected, my first visit here after hearing glowing reports about the place so brought a friend for a meal and she was most impressed. We had time after for a drink in the bar before our bus back into town.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00ExcellentI tentatively ordered a pint of this despite being stuffed full of food but it was so delicious it went down surprisingly well. All my Harvey's expectations satisfied.

We were booked here for a family meal in the restaurant so I arrived early to have a couple of pints in the bar beforehand. Very busy for a Tuesday evening but staff were attentive.

Lunchtime visit on day two. I think this place will fill a much needed gap in the local market. Very professionally run. I had a look at some of the menus and can't wait to eat here.
