Disappointingly identikit country pub atmosphere, seemingly stuck in an 80's timewarp. Friendly barstaff, but not really our type of pub.Enjoyed a pint of Hophead in the garden.

Cosy pub in the heart of a village at the east of the South Downs. Bar staff had corporate shirts and this is definitely a tourist trade pub where food is predominant.

Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's)3.40GoodUsual, if served a tad too warm
Hepworth - Sussex Organic Pale Ale4.50AcceptableHmmm... not so keen on this beer - not sure what they were trying to achieve with it - falls between the summery refreshing Hophead type and a washed out bitter. Slightly cloudy.
