To the best of our knowledge this pub is now shut. Please contact us if this is not the case.

Unfathomably quiet for a Friday evening next door to a university. No food being served and sadly no sign of any Bells beers. What was available was not in the same league as the other pubs visited later in the evening. Early days yet but more microbrewed ales needed to compete with the city centre's best.
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30AcceptableReasonable, quite malty TTLL muted through a sparkler.
Brains - The Rev James Original4.50PoorDull and lacking condition.
