We are in our motorhome about 1/4 mile from this pub. Mid evening and it’s winding down for Boxing Day. A dozen or so people in - but this wouldn’t feel crowded with less than 100. Felt warm and friendly even so - very pleasant young staff, swapped my sour pint quite happily, played their own music far too loudly, gave us some complementary chocolate treats. Memorable.
