I was on my way to walk some alpacas but came here first for some lunch. I really like this pub. Very relaxed, and due to its proximity to a Caravan-Club site, full of an interesting mix of people.
Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | | Really very drinkable. I had this because I could see other people's pints of it being pulled and it looked good. |
Wadworth - 6X | 4.10 | Not Tried | |

Mid evening. Popular with diners. Not so popular with me at over £13 for a so-so pint, G&T and packet of crisps. The other ale (that I foolishly had) was a bland, indifferent 3.8 beer, served short and on a badge with no providence. It had a profile of Winston Churchill and the legend “Limited Edition, Celebration Ale, British Amber Ale”. A good example of excessive marketing over substance.

Early evening. Have passed this so many times, thought it time to check it out. A good vibe to it - warm and cosy despite the large area. A dozen or so people scattered about. Super log fire in the front bar with comfy seating around it. Shame about the lack of ale choice (Wadworth 6X clip turned round).
Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | | Condition ok but so bland. |

Lunchtime friendly welcome in this relaxed pleasant pub. Sadly yet another unexciting beer range but it's another pub I've not done before so it's fulfilled its purpose.
Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | | What a bonus this was, and in fine form too, I'll be the envy of PnB scribes today.. |
Wadworth - 6X | 4.10 | Not Tried | Alas not available. |

We came here from the nearby campsite. I'd driven past it many a time but never been in. Modern interior with from and side yard seating. Busy.
Wadworth - 6X | 4.10 | | Good condition. Soft in mouth. Bit of sickly twiglet going on |
Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | Not Tried | Went off as I ordered it |
