Still enjoy coming here when possible, unfortunately I just don't like the place when music's on as it feels claustrophobic. Quiet this particular afternoon with just a few loyal regulars sat round the open fire.

Dropped in to see a band, unfortunately it was far too busy and uncomfortably hot so we only stayed for the one. Good to see the place making some money though.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70AcceptableReasonable pint of masterbrew, perhaps a tad too warm.

Haven't been here for a while so stopped in for a couple of games of pool before heading into the centre. Good pub, could be even better.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Last night of folk week so I knew it was going to be really busy in broadstairs. Popped in here to see the band 'Broken Biscuit' who were fantastic. I actually like this pub, it has a really good vibe to it.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Canterbury Jack3.50AcceptableSweet and a little fruity. Not bad but not overly great either.

Haven't been here since I was at college, I used to come here on my lunch breaks. It's changed a lot sinc ehten, and for the better. Really nice interior with lots of photos of famous folk musicians adorning the walls. Not all that busy but still maintained a vibrant feel to the place. I really like it here actually.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Canterbury Jack3.50AcceptableInitially I quite liked it. Sweet with plenty of caramel and a bit of fruit. But became a little too sweet by the end. Still ok for sheps though.
