Early Saturday evening, the bar was fairly quiet with just few youngsters playing pool and selecting awful music on the juke box. Thankfully they left and I was able to enjoy my pint in peace, and decide to stay for another one.

A very friendly local in Old Bedford Road. Four handpumps. Described as a 'real pub' with modern facilities. Food is served only Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes. Closed and converted to residential use.
