Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Moorhouse's - Black Cat Mild | 3.40 | Lovely, roasty dark mild with a soft bitterness and a full flavour. | |
Copper Dragon - Challenger IPA | 4.40 | Copper-hued and imbued with masses of peppery hop character from Challenger Hops. Not as agressive as some American IPA's, but slightly more fiery than traditional, mild 'English style' IPA's. A nice companion to Golden Pippin. | |
Leeds - Leeds Pale | 3.80 | Leeds's best session beer - pale, with a tight, creamy head. Masses of grapefruit and tropical fruits on the nose, and gently bitter and spritzy on the swallow. Very nice on a hot day!! |

The pub is found in Horsforth, West Yorkshire, LS18 4RJ.
Another excellent Market Town Taverns pub in Town Street, and by far the best place to drink in Horsforth. Small, but quiet, dogs welcome and beer always in good nick.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
