Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

IanAcceptable08 Oct 2005 Dark copper colour with thin beige head. Cookie dough and hoppy aroma. Caramel and op in mouth. More hop on end but disappinting and a bit of muddle of flavours. Like so many beers at this pub, never sure that this is exactly how it should taste.

Rare Breeds Beer Festival 2005, Woodchurch, Kent

IanExcellent03 Jun 2005 Orangey brown. American hop nose distinctive of Phoenix beers. Some fruit and malts with citrus flavour. Hoppy dry finish with more tangy hops. This is almost the ideal beer for me
