Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Stephen HarrisGood21 May 2015 London Fields are currently having to brew their beers away from their own brewery – at Tom Woods and at Franklins I believe. This black beer had a good chocolate taste but fell flat quickly in the glass.

Stephen HarrisGood14 Jan 2013 This is to become a regular beer in place of the Pale Ale. It is a dark ruby colour (but the next brew will be darker) with coffee tastes.
Stephen HarrisGood28 Jun 2012 A sweetish, black, bottled beer. The brewers are not yet fully happy with this one, but several in the group really liked it.
