Ian | | 19 Feb 2009 | Served a little warm perhaps, but a decent best bitter/red ale. Full red berry fruit, slight strawberry jam edge. It's an odd bitter, some good fruit. Some yeast character. Deep gold/copper colour. Almost a bit of fruit syrupy malt, but it never gets there. I quite like it, but it never quite resolves itself. Fine. |
