IanExcellent22 Oct 2011 The woman behind the bar kindly put this on for me as I had requested an Oakham beer. It was in exquisite condition. Some tea flavour but quickly settled down into a really good slightly citrusy strong golden ale.

IanGood01 Jun 2006 Copper coloured, thin white head. Bit maltier than most of Oakhams with some red fruit and attractive hop aroma. Some strawberry in mouth and strong hop finish. Distinctive hop bitterness. I love the finish on this, mixed with the strawberry fruit and malt.

The Butchers Arms, Herne, Kent

DubbelGood06 Oct 2009 Dispensed headless, so probably sub-prime. Still such a wonderful colour and bursting with layers of sweet and hoppy goodness.

IanGood19 Sep 2009 Haven't had this in years. It has the necessary Oakham hop and a bit more depth and body than usual due to the higher ABV. Went down very easily and very well. May be back later today for another.

BlairExcellent20 Jun 2008 This was a stunning pint, hoppy with lovely sweet malt. Bags of flavour. If only all summer ales were this good.
