Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Bear & Ragged StaffGood23 Apr 2013 Excellent condition and presentation but a variation on a theme. Just a stronger version of other Oakham beers.
IanGood26 Jun 2010 Bit of earth, lots of tangerine, you can taste the alcohol in this.

The Rake, Southwark, Central London

IanAcceptable23 Nov 2010 Not my favourite Oakham beer. Yes the intense tangerine is good but I find it sticky and a bit syrupy

Rushden Historical Transport Society, Rushden, Northamptonshire

StephenExcellent10 Jul 2010 Trouble is its dangerous can taste loads going on fruity malts alcohol sweetness with those typical tangerine citrus hops quite fancied another but 6.5% I think not.
