This month's venue for our NESW group I arrived around 12.30 and joined around 10 of our group already enjoying their first pint. A few other customers dotted about and became much busier until our early evening departure.

A group of us arrived just before the advertised 12:00 opening and were pleased to find that the door was opened punctually. We were the first customers and had the place to ourselves for a short while.

The pub is found in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE1 1FP.
Take a permanently moored old Dutch barge on the River Nene, kit it out with a below deck bar run and stocked by one of the top breweries in the UK, add a touch of live music, regular events and festivals and finish it off with a fine-quality oriental restaurant on the top deck. Inspired - and quite probably the best thing about Peterborough. 12 cask ales always on (more during festivals).
