Early afternoon on a mild post Christmas Saturday.Pleasantly busy with drinkers and lunchers. We spoke with an American lady who was pleasantly surprised that dogs were made welcome.Apparently this custom does not apply in the US of A.

Mid afternoon our group arrived just as another were leaving, so propped the bar up and were entertained by the enthusiastic Geordie barman who realted to many of the pubs we'd visited in his home area.

My first visit to this lovely little pub for a very long time. Pleasant and quiet in the afternoon after I had made a hospital visit in the town.

Holler (formerly Holler Boys) - Loot | 5.50 | | A great example of one of these new-fangled, cloudy, fruity and juicy New England IPAs. So good to find this kind of thing in cask. |
