I was tired and irritable this day and really shouldn't have been anywhere near people. No where near as busy as the Friday evening. Most beers still on. Ended up just drinking the Goachers Crown Imperial Stout. And why not?

| Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter | 4.00 | | Had some of the Harvey's distinctive flavour, but compared with the pint you get at The Bowl Inn at Hastingleigh, this was a pale shadow. |

Came with Ian and Martin. Sat in side as it was a bit chilly out. The beer quality was much better than last year and it was slightly less crowded.

| Nelson - Pieces of Eight | 3.80 | | Reddy-brown coloured beer with a hue of demerara sugar. Straw and red berry in the smell. Tasted of red berry with earthy hop and a hint of vanilla. I really liked this |
| Goacher's - Real Mild Ale | 3.40 | | Good dark hue with wide partial head. Smelt of toasted malt with a hint of choloclate. Not much going on in the front of the mouth but a big heavily toasted malt and earthy hop finish |
| Goacher's - Special House Ale | 3.80 | | Badged as "Goachers Special Mill Ale" and the festival's beer. Dark caramel brown coloured beer with rich malt and a toasted bite. |
| Nelson - Friggin in the Riggin | 4.70 | | Big sour vine smell to it. Rich tart plum and hawthorn. Big tart bite to finish |

Over 500 people on the Friday evening, and it felt like it too. Heaving, but in a good way. All enjoying themselves. Weather was a bit up and down and I managed to sit as far away from the bar as possible with some colleagues from work.

| Dartford Wobbler (re-named from Millis) - Gravesend Guzzler | 3.70 | | Other than the Goachers Mild and Crown Imperial Stout, the best beer I had. Lots of citrus lemon/tangerine flavours and a real puckering acidic finish. |
| Goacher's - Best Dark Ale (aka Original) | 4.10 | | Fine, if a little dull |
| Whitstable - East India Pale Ale (or EIPA) | 4.10 | | Not as hoppy as it should be, but Martin had it on the Saturday, twice. Once not that great, but by the time we left the sherberty hop had really developed and it was excellent. |
| Woodforde's - Wherry | 3.80 | | This could have been any session bitter. None of that wow factor you get with a good pint of Wherry. |

The Beer Festival is found in Dover, Kent, CT17 0UY.
Although not a CAMRA beer festival many of the people who run it seem to be from the local CAMRA branch. Run along the same lines as a CAMRA festival this is an excellent event held in a grounds and mill building.
We have visited this Beer Festival 3 times, seen 13 different beers and tried them all.
