Mid evening visit. Surprised the Guv remembered me from such a long ago last visit. Bohemian feel, low lit and noted that 2 KeyKeg beers have been introduced since then.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Black Pearl Oyster Stout | 6.20 | | KeyKeg dispense, Gadds' quality came through. On this cooled dispense came through rather like a Draught Guinness |
Howling Hops (Brewed at Hackney Wick) - Pale XX No. 2 | 5.10
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | Not Tried
Crate - Golden Ale | 3.80 | Not Tried
Oddly - Session Pale Ale | 3.30 | Not Tried

Gun - Pale Ale | 4.60 | Not Tried

Interesting discussion with the family. Excellent nibbles brought in by the local baker. Totally yummy. Great to see Goachers being delivered here.
Great Heck - Black Jesus | 6.50 | | Quality dark un. Beer of the day. |
Goacher's - Gold Star | 5.10 | | Still a quality beer. |
21 Jan 2016 (ChrisE)
Lunchtime visit, we had a good chat with the landlord and a former pub landlord who was enjoying his retirement.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 7 | 3.80 | | The best No.7 that I have had for some time. |
Late Knights - Worm Catcher IPA | 5.00 | | Just a taster but excellent. |
Wantsum - Red Raddle | 5.00 | Not Tried
Great Heck - Black Jesus | 6.50 | Not Tried | There seems to be a lot of Great Heck beers in this region at the moment. |

Evening after being cut to pieces by some of the strongest wind I have ever walked in. Good to see this is now permanently open and pleased to be recognised from my previous Easter 2015 visit. Ticks all the Micropub boxes.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 7 | 3.80
Late Knights - Morning Glory | 4.40 | | Better Late Knights than I have had in Late Knights's pubs |
Isla Vale Alesmiths - IPA | 5.50 | Not Tried | Just a taster and seemed to be heavily sugar-laden so no go for me |

Found it! Great micro pub in the traditional format. Proper cold room means the beers were in great condition. Bedford camra group were in attempting to do 40,000 visits to pubs and the rest.Welcome addition to the loop bus pub tour.
Isla Vale Alesmiths - IPA | 5.50 | | Superb condition. Half price as young lad shut up 15 mins early last Saturday! |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 7 | 3.80 | Not Tried
30 Dec 2015 (ChrisE)
It is nice to see this pub open now open on a regular basis. This was my first visit here after quite a long wait and it was nice to be able to dispel all the rumours as to why the pub had closed soon after the initial opening.
Dark Star - American Pale Ale (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 4.70
Late Knights - Penge Porter | 4.60 | | Rare to see Late Knights beers in pubs other than their own. |

Evening. Latest Micropub to open in Kent and at last makes a reason for visiting Cliftonville. Long conversation about beer and Micropubs with the family licensees. A rather abv heavy beer range.
Wantsum - Ravening Wolf | 5.90
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - East Kent India Pale Ale | 6.50
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 10 | 10.00 | | An Imperial Stout. The licensees' son has produced a convincing Gadds' pumpclip for, apparently, the only cask not sold through Planet Thanet Beer Festival over Easter |
Goacher's - Real Mild Ale | 3.40 | Not Tried
Brass Castle - Burnout | 5.80 | Not Tried
