After visiting the The National Pinetum at Bedgebury (and here's a tip, never go there during, a) half term and, b) a Covid pandemic that's closed all the soft play centres, because you won't be able to move for 3 year olds with coffee-drinking parents) we came here for lunch. Prior to coming I looked it up and found I'd already been - 5 years ago. I must be getting old. Anyway, it was very friendly and pleasant.

The pub is found in Hawkhurst, Kent, TN18 5EJ.

A traditional 16th century inn in Gills Green that has been tastefully refurbished. One gets the impression that it really focuses on food. However there is a really large bar area with comfortable seating.

We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 11 different beers and tried 5 of them.
