Early evening. A few drinkers round the bar - couple of diners. This is a very well appointed gastro-pub with prices to match.

We were on the way to East Sussex and broke our journey with a stop in West Kent. Having got home from work, packed in 20 mins and driven for 90 mins over here I was ready for a pint.

Early Monday evening. For a dining pub I was surprised by the number of drinking in the bar. Food was impressive as usual.

A traditional 16th century inn that has been tastefully refurbished. One gets the impression that it really focuses on food. However there is a really large bar area with comfortable seating.
