Acorn - Tarnlife | 4.50 | A classic in-your-face, straw-coloured, Yorkshire pale ale – enhanced by excellent Cascade and Centennial hops. I did not see a need to try any of the other beers on sale. | |

The pub is found in Coventry, West Midlands, CV6 6DF.
Although technically in Coventry, this pub is a good five or six miles from the city centre and only inches away from being in Warwickshire – if it stood on the other side of the canal, it would be in Bedworth. Owned by the Canal & River Trust, the pub stands at the junction of the Coventry and Oxford canals and it is both a scenic and a formerly-industrial spot – the two not being mutually exclusive. Once a small pub, it has expanded into two neighbouring terraced cottages since originally being built in the 1830s. There are many outside tables at the front and a large garden to the rear, served by its own ‘Whippet’ bar.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 12 different beers and tried 3 of them.
