The pub is found in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S1 4HP.
A long-established city centre pub in Cambridge Street, which has been present under the name Sportsman since at least 1833. Latterly the Sportsman Rock Bar, this pub was acquired by Kelham Island Brewery and re-opened in December 2014 as the Tap & Tankard. A fairly small house, it looks as though it was formerly multi-roomed and has retained a vestige the old arrangement in a variety of seating areas.
We have visited this pub once, seen 8 different beers and tried 1 of them.
