I was presented with the opportunity of a lift to and from Birchington, with an hour inbetween. I've never been here before so after a 12 minute swift walk I arived just before 8pm. Quite a few people in, which was good because I'd feared it would be empty and he'd have closed before I arrived. Nice pub. £4.20 a pint.
Buxton - Bitter | 4.30 | | Condition was okay. Nice red fruit. Hint of coffee grounds and of gooseberry |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Seasider | 4.30 | Not Tried
Koomor (contract brewed at Iron Pier) - Petal | 4.80 | Not Tried

Not long after 16.00 opening and already a few in with many more arriving during our couple of houurs stay. We perched at the bar chatting to Kirsty who my friend knew well.
Shivering Sands - Spring Tide | 3.80 | | Pale hoppy with a bitter kick for this outstanding nectar in faultless condition! |
Salopian - Shropshire Gold | 3.80 | | Golden, with a flora aroma and a full hoppy flavour that is balanced by a crisp dry maltiness and a rich finish |
Gun - Chummy Bluster | 4.40 | | A gentle, fruity, well rounded ale, with just the right amount of bitterness |
21 Sep 2022 (Dosser)
After several attempts to drink here but failing due to the limited opening hours, we finally found it open. The pub is closed Monday and Tuesday so we found fresh beers on today. £4 all beers.
BritHop (originally cuckoo or contract brewed at Franklins) - Sweet Symphony Mosaic Amber Ale | 4.20 | | Very nice |
Ascot - Little Giddy | 3.60 | | Good condition but not that tasty. |
