Normal sort of weekday lunchtime. I have only listed those beers I had.
Adnams - Mateo & Bernabé Birra Armada | 4.80 | | Very nice beer. Definitely had the right taste. |
Rockin Robin - Blizzard of Oz | 4.50 | | This is what is said on the pumpclip but it was another Rockin Robin brew. |
15 Jan 2015 (thebrewingman)
Pub number two in the mini crawl. Lunchtime. A few guest beers including a some "coming soon" clips. A voice in my ear said the Tring was on last week so avoided. Nice to see two Rockin Robin beers. I've only listed the beer I had.
Rockin Robin - Blizzard of Oz | 4.50 | | My first try of this beer. We all agreed it was excellent. |
19 Oct 2014 (Stephen Harris)
When I arrived here in the early evening there was just one member of staff valiantly trying to serve an increasingly impatient throng, and I nearly walked straight back out. But one chap loudly demanded to speak to the manager, and, miraculously, four more bar staff instantly appeared from somewhere and cleared the backlog in double-quick time. A splendid pub by the way.
Hook Norton - Brew Moon Real Antipodean Ale | 4.00 | | Another very tasty session bitter enhanced by Southern Hemisphere hops. |
Banks's - Two Birds Golden Ale | 4.40 | | Golden, quite light in body (some wheat in the mix), and nice citrusy hops. Really enjoyed this one. |

21 Mar 2014 (thebrewingman)
Most tables taken with the usual JDW cliental. Disappointing beer selection. The three I have listed were the only ones on apart from the usual suspects. A lot of pump clips turned around.
Surrey Hills - Albury Ruby | 4.60
Long Man - Long Blonde | 3.80 | Not Tried
Long Man - Old Man | 4.30 | Not Tried
16 Dec 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
Weltons - Ho' Ho' Ho' | 4.40 | | Billed as a chocolate and clove stout but rather disappointing on all fronts. Rather thin and bitter with a tangy finish. My score 14/20. |
