29 Sep 2024 (Magnus Greel)
Lively for an early Sunday evening with a few tables and seating available. Music being played thankfully unobtrusively allowing conversation to happen unimpeded.
Burning Sky - Aurora | 5.60 | | A resinous mouthfeel, big citrus and tropical fruit flavours, which are prominent, yet well balanced. |
Burning Sky - NZPA | 4.50 | | Refreshingly hoppy pale ale. |

19 May 2023 (Magnus Greel)
Busy upon our lunchtime arrival after which folk soon dissipated and we had the left side bar to ourselves though sadly the loud music made conversation a chore. Think is my first visit - possibly the garish colour scheme now which adorns this pub interfered with my memory banks somehow!
Dark Star - American Pale Ale (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 4.70 | | This was superb - all my APA expectations satisfied.. |
Cloak + Dagger - No Dinner For Old Men | 3.50 | | A complex hoppy brew bursting with tropical fruits with even a hint of Jaffa Cake.. |
Burning Sky - Plateau (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Sadly rather watery and lacking body. |
Burning Sky - Aurora | 5.60 | Not Tried | |
06 Feb 2020 (Philip Pirrip)

House Beer - Kissing Coppers | 4.00 | Not Tried | Pumpclip picture celebrates a Banksy mural at one time on the side of the pub. Staff would only say it is supplied by C.O.D. Beers, a wholesale beer delivery business. As mysterious as Banksy himself eh? |
25 Nov 2019 (Philip Pirrip)
