Pleasant pub, very dimly lit. Busy with ramblers. Nine cask beers on at lunchtime, and both that I tried were in rather tired condition.

This pub is in a lovely village just off the M25/M20. There is a picturesque river running through it and the buildings are superb. The pub has a central serving area with 9 handpumps. Painted freizes on the walls and doors are interesting. My feeling is that they try to do too many beers. Reasonable crowd in mid Saturday afternoon.

Horseshoe shaped pub with high ceilings and a central bar in High Street. Many of the wood panels show hand painted scenes of Kent. Reported as closed in summer 2025.
