Evening. A super find happily catering for pizza, beer and music lovers all in one building. The live music I heard was really well performed from the soul.
Pale gold with good citrus hop flavours. Good malt balance leading to a citrus and fruit finish. My score 15/20.
Oakham - Musashi
4.40
Very pale, bitter and hoppy. Hint of Sorachi in this giving a floral, pineapple note amongst the citrus hop flavour. Little malt in evidence. Not really to my taste. My score 13/20.
Abbeydale - Beer Works Dr Morton's Goat Flush
4.50
Very pale and quite sweet beer, with a bittersweet hop character probably involving Sorachi. The finish is rather dry and cloying. My score 14/20.
Derventio - Troll
4.30
Amber bitter with a dry hop character and little maltiness. Dry finish. Not to my taste. My score 12/20.

This has been a pub I've wanted to go to for a long time. I wasn't actually looking for it when I turned a corner and there it was. It was fairly quiet except for the Sex Pistols on the stereo.

Light brown colour. Light body, tart (hint of vinegar?). Leafy hop on the finish. Nice
Leatherbritches - Owd Codger
4.90
Pale brown. Leafy hop, long finish. Fruity (strawberry hints) in mouth and really peppery hop.
The pub is found in Leicester, Leicestershire, LE1 5JN.
70s style two roomed (each with its own bar counter) town centre pub in Millstone Lane, with small outside seating area. Very industrial looking brick (part tiled) frontage. Vast collection of pumpclips sorted into individual brewer's sets. 7 handpumps on each of the 2 bar counters. Specialises in a wide range of pizzas. Regular live music.
We have visited this pub 23 times, seen 177 different beers and tried 60 of them.
