Early afternoon and reasonably quiet. A good deal of conversation about the amount of news coverage that the death of David Bowie had received. A superb selection of beers from which to choose, and all at £2.50 per pint. I have not attempted to list them all.

The pub is found in Dartford, Kent, DA1 2AU.

Former CAMRA National Club of the Year in Essex Road, with 15 handpumps constantly dispensing beautifully kept ale from near and far. Ridiculously low prices and a very friendly, convivial atmosphere. Just about the only place worth drinking in Dartford - hence the 12 month waiting list for membership. CAMRA friendly so members may visit and ask to be signed in. Local CAMRA branch Club of the Year 2022.
