| Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | Not Tried | Alas, I was not quick enough. It ran out whilst I was drinking my Lord Marples. |

26 Nov 2014 (Stephen Harris)
I didn’t get away from work until gone 8pm (don’t we all just love putting in 12-hour-plus shifts), so it was mid-evening by the time I got here and not too busy.
| Adnams - Southern Lights Red Ale | 3.80 | | A sweet, fruity, red ale – lacking body and little evidence of hops. I cannot blame poor condition of the beer this time; it was perfect. |
| Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| St Austell - Nicholson's Pale Ale | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
| St Austell - Nicholson's Porter | 5.00 | Not Tried | |

Mid-evening and quietening down from around 9pm.
| Big Penny (formerly Truman's) as of late 2022 contract brewed - Tom Ditto IPA | 5.00 | | Amber/reddish in colour. A strong tasting, full-bodied IPA with masses of fruity US hop flavours. I had to have a couple to be absolutely sure how good it was. |
| Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| St Austell - Tribute | 4.20 | Not Tried | |

01 Apr 2014 (Stephen Harris)
Quiet at 8pm with the rush hour pretty much over and most remaining customers outside on the pavement.
| Ilkley - Rye N' Dry | 5.00 | | Reddish-brown in colour. In sparkling condition; no quality issues today. Unexpectedly light for its strength. Slightly spicy and bready undertones from the rye. Loads of good, citrusy hop tastes. |
| Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
| Loch Ness - Hoppy Ness | 5.00 | Not Tried | |

21 Nov 2013 (HSB)
16:45 Time to spare before train home so came here as Hamilton Halls still closed for renovation. Beer quality was disappointing. I think they are probably too busy for only six handpumps. The beer goes so quickly it would appear to be not quite ready when needed.
| Mordue - IPA | 5.10 | | Cloudy but very tasty. Barman said it was fresh on. |
| Long Man - American Pale Ale | 4.80 | | Cloudy |
| Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
| St Austell - Nicholson's Pale Ale | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
| St Austell - Nicholson's Porter | 5.00 | Not Tried | |
10 Sep 2013 (HSB)
18:30 30 minutes to kill so came here for a drink. A mistake. Normally good for beer, not tonight.
| WharfeBank - Fair Dinkum | 4.30 | | Again cloudy, but not as bad as the other beer. |
| Wold Top - Golden Summer | 4.40 | | Cloudy and obviously gone. My pint was changed without question. However, the clip was not turned and I got the distinct impression they were going to continue selling it. |

19:30 Empty, most drinkers were outside on the pavement.

02 Jan 2013 (Stephen Harris)
Nice to catch this pub fairly quiet in the evening rush hour as the City is slow to awake from its Christmas slumbers.
| Nethergate (was Nethergate Growler for a while then name reverted) - Petersfield Porter | 5.00 | | Very deep red, almost black in colour. A Porter in the London style. Initially sweet, richly malty, slightly smoky, winey/sherry-like hint. An exclusive brew for the Nicholson’s chain. |
| Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| Moles - Mole Catcher | 5.00 | Not Tried | |
