Lunchtime cycle meet. Only 3 of us today. 5 or six others in. The pub has changed hands recently with a previous landlord and landlady taking it back on. Wet day but no log fire. It was nowhere near as cosy as our last visit. Reasonable prices - £4.40 for the Gadd’s.

Back for a Potterers cycle meet. Sandwich and the pub were both pleasantly busy - not crowded despite the Open golf underway nearby. Very efficient table service.

Planned cycle rendezvous with a number of other oldies. The garden was a good sun trap sheltered well from the cold NE wind. Good table service.
