Regular bus pass outing on a second Thursday. We were on our way to the Brickfield but due to its 1pm opening we stopped here first and liked it so much we stayed for a session and some food, which was very good value. A good number of customers in just after noon. The barman was friendly and efficient.

Arrived just after 7pm and it was very pleasant. In the past I've only been here on weekends when it's been heaving and not very relaxed. Tonight it was great. Plenty in but not 3 at the bar deep as it seems to be at weekends.

A stop for some goulash soup and beer. Anybody who likes goulash soup should come here and enjoy a pub with good beers and atmosphere as well. the front area was full so we sat in the small area at the back. I did not make a note of all the beers on offer.
