Easter Sunday cycle meet. We have the small bar area with leather sofas reserved. Our senior member is 87 today - and of course rode here and back (from Thanet). Pub not overly busy with very good service for the dozen or so of us. Great community pub this.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Sharp's - Sea Fury5.00Excellent Very good, malty ale in top condition.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - HPA Hoppy Pale Ale3.60ExcellentA fine pint - more body than the stronger Wantsum brew
Wantsum - Hoppy Bunny4.20Good4.5% version this year - light, easy drinking.

Lunchtime cycle meet. 15 of us rather swamping the front bar but we still got a warm welcome. The live music list here looks interesting- I must try it sometime.

Lunchtime. Final cycle group meet of the year. Wet and windy out, nice and cosy inside in the back bar with two huge leather sofas in front of a log fire. We stayed a while, excellent session.

Lunchtime and busy with mostly drinkers which is always good to see. After being on my 'to do list' far too long have finally got round to visiting and pleased I have.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Green Hop (2023)4.80ExcellentHere we go again with the green hop nonsense. Totally meaningless to the casual drinker however this was an excellent enjoyable pint.
