What a great pub. Had a Victorian feel to it with rich coloured wallpaper. Centre bar with seating around the walls.

The weather forecast was for a sunny afternoon, well they got that wrong and I had no option but to shelter from the downpour in here. I enjoyed a beer in a good atmosphere and built up an appetite for a visit to the nearby CCCP restaurant.

After the disastrous visit to the Artillery we bolted down here as it's a safe bet Dogbolter in beautiful condition will be on offer. Pub was busy and the beer line-up was good, The Rose saves the day again.
