Friendly bar staff. The left hand bar as you walk in is entirely for dining now. Jane and I sat at a raised drinking table in the corner and looked at all the tourist leaflets by our side. Who knew you could hire a private plane to take you from Lydd to Le Touque!?

12:20 Having returned to the micro-pub for a 12:00 opening we sat in the sun waiting. After 20 minutes we came here. The right hand room was empty and the six of us stood at the bar and were studiously ignored by three staff. We were on the cusp of walking out when the male member of staff turned to us and asked if anyone was waiting! I told him we all were. I ensured that the six pints pulled were topped up. Very unfriendly attitude.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Samuel Adams Blonde Ambition4.50AcceptableThe pump clip claims American Craft Beer brewed by Samuel Adams. None of which would appear to be correct.

After standing outside the Barber's Arms for about twenty minutes waiting for it to open we came in here, a considerable number of staff on duty but great difficulty getting somebody to actually serve customers, amazing considering we had the main bar to ourselves.

It wouldn't be a Wye Christmas eve unless you sat in the Fly with expensive pints, getting jossled by the throng of early 20-something who decend on the pub from who knows where because I can't believe they live in Wye. Anyway, Ian Mart Jane, Jane and I got a table in the back room and stayed for hours. Rock 'n' Christmas roll.
