Early afternoon, this pub has a new manager who seems to be very enthusiastic. A good late lunchtime trade, I treated a myself to a sausage and onion sandwich to accompany my pint.

I had just missed a bus from outside this pub so I popped in here whilst waiting for the next one, they were busy with food orders but plenty of staff were on hand so I did not have to wait long for my pint.

Generally fairly quiet but a fair number of diners in the restaurant area. I was pretty miffed at paying £1.90 a half for a friend's Early Bird while my pint cost £3.70.

A very hot and sunny Sunday lunchtime, far too hot to eat a three course Sunday roast dinner, but had one anyway. The pub was busy, and it was good to see four different cask ales on offer.
