Evening visit. I always seem to be going somewhere else when entering here - need a longer stop one day.

Marston's - Pedigree4.50ExcellentRare down south, enjoyed this a lot but not the Burton snatch taste of old

Evening attempted visit. Street packed after clearing out time at some sort of local festival. Pub packed and a noise box inside so turned tail. Pity as fancied a rather rare John Smith's Cask.

The pub is found in Beckenham, Greater London, BR3 1BN.

Located in the lower end of the High Street by the roundabout opposite the Odeon cinema. U-shaped bar counter with seating on three sides. At April 2022 (things can change) the eye is caught by both a US Sky Chief petrol pump in the corner and a "life size" Spiderman figure clinging to the wall but who would sit under it. Also at August 2022 a substantial discount on real ales is offered to card carrying CAMRA members. 8 handpumps - 2 either side of the counter, 4 handpumps on the front counter (not sure if any are dummy handpumps). Local CAMRA branch Community Pub of the Year 2016. Card payment ONLY, no cash accepted.

We have visited this pub 28 times, seen 30 different beers and tried 12 of them.
