BeerABVScoreNotes
Marston's - Pedigree4.50ExcellentRare down south, enjoyed this a lot but not the Burton snatch taste of old
Timothy Taylor - Knowle Spring4.20GoodDon't think I've had this before. A resinous hop oil aftertaste, lost head and lacing rather quickly alas

03 Sep 2022 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening attempted visit. Street packed after clearing out time at some sort of local festival. Pub packed and a noise box inside so turned tail. Pity as fancied a rather rare John Smith's Cask.

Evening until 11pm close. Feel of a locals' house with good banter across the bar at all times. CAMRA discount proferred before I could ask.
BeerABVScoreNotes
St Austell - Tribute4.20ExcellentBest Tribute for a long time and oddly 2 pints quite different. 1st came across as quite florally hopped, 2nd which I suspect was fresher was cooler and lost some of those attributes

The pub is found in Beckenham, Greater London, BR3 1BN.

Located in the lower end of the High Street by the roundabout opposite the Odeon cinema. U-shaped bar counter with seating on three sides. At April 2022 (things can change) the eye is caught by both a US Sky Chief petrol pump in the corner and a "life size" Spiderman figure clinging to the wall but who would sit under it. Also at August 2022 a substantial discount on real ales is offered to card carrying CAMRA members. 8 handpumps - 2 either side of the counter, 4 handpumps on the front counter (not sure if any are dummy handpumps). Local CAMRA branch Community Pub of the Year 2016. Card payment ONLY, no cash accepted.

We have visited this pub 33 times, seen 39 different beers and tried 14 of them.
