A rapid pint before boarding a train to Harwich (well, Manningtree to start with). No time to make a full list of cask beer availability.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Nottingham - Rose's Oatmeal Stout4.80ExcellentThis was a really nice pint that I would like to have savoured rather than bolted down.

In here on the way home from a business trip to Hertfordshire and intending to have a go at the current Wetherspoon festival list. Sticking with the halves.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Daleside - Thai.P.A.4.00ExcellentPale gold and fragrant. Almost overpowering initial lemongrass flavours. But very nice once you’ve adjusted to it.

Exmoor - Exile Urban Fox4.20GoodAmber-coloured, malty, but also well-hopped. Bitter finish.

It appeared to be the calm after the storm in here, with much clearing-up going on at 7:45, large football crowds having departed to tonight’s match at the Olympic Stadium. The pub is in the midst of an internal refurbishment.
BeerABVScoreNotes

I was passing through Liverpool Street and had a need to use the facilities here. Paid my ‘toilet tax’ by buying two halves of festival beers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Otter - Fusion4.80GoodA full-bodied brown beer with a good hop presence.
Caledonian - Devils Backbone Bravo Four Point4.00AcceptableAn authentic APA taste, but didn’t quite work for me. Good hops, but overall effect spoiled by soft mouthfeel and a lingering lemon-peel taste in the finish. May not have been in the freshest condition though.

Mid-evening and still busy in here, to the point that I was only able to record the beers on the left hand bank of pumps.
