Busy mid Saturday afternoon. No seats when I arrived, but a few left while I was there.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Sambrook's - Pumphouse Pale Ale4.20GoodInteresting pale ale, not sure if this sample is representative. Very sweet and malty with toffee and biscuit notes. Hardly any hop character and a fruity finish. My score 15/20.
Windsor & Eton - Kohinoor Jubilee Commonwealth Indies Pale Ale4.50GoodGolden coloured with a good citrus hop character balanced with a little malt. Dryish finish. My score 15/20.
14 Jun 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
Late evening visit. 5 ales on handpump and 7 on gravity and a stack of cider polypins. Very busy with drinking out the front and inside. Beers at £3.70, £3.80, £3.90 and £4.00 according to gravity but 50p reduction for CAMRA card holders.

Nottingham - Foundry Mild4.70ExcellentScrumptious with full body and cream brown head
Chideock - Martyr's Best4.50ExcellentA new brewery for me based in West Dorset. Something to do with the Art Brew Brewery I suspect
Warwickshire - Rugby Ball Stitcher IPA5.00PoorFrom the gravity stillage. Newly on. Was hazy and seemed flat and not conditioned. Tasted woody and vaguely whiskyish. An effort to sip - fair dues the cellarmen swapped it for a Chideock
