Started at the arty for a change as will be looking for a pub with the football on, and its not here. 6 ales on. Overheard a conversation from the barmaid about how she thought this place was doing so much better than others locally. Well give the punters a great choice of beers at affordable prices, and you get a successful pub!

A small corner pub on a hill, West Cliff Road, not far from the town centre. It has a rather rambling interior with the main seating area raised above the bar floor and a basement seating area too. Glorious stained glass street windows. 6 handpumps on the bar counter enhanced to make 9 in 2022.
