Had heard Eddie Gadd wasnt brewing his strong dark uns at the moment so a bit disappointed with the selection again so it was a quick visit.

Sunday lunchtime from opening time, Eddie and one of his team were behind the bar, and Andy the previous landlord sat at the bar. A good crowd of customers, I stayed for a little bit longer than originally intended

Chris Excell seems to be following some of my pub suggestions so when I saw Ians pub report we had to go here. Excellent atmosphere.

Eddie gadd brewed 2 casks of free beer and provided food to highlight that someone local has one a million on the lottery and not claimed it. Missed the free beer but not the food! Packed pub.Great atmosphere when we arrived. Not surprised. Everyone pissed on free booze!

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 7HJ.
A small L-shaped pub with a good locals' feel. Found up a side road, Trinity Place, not far from the centre of town. A lease taken by Eddie Gadd of Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') in Summer 2014 from the private owner and he took over occupancy in September of that year. Local CAMRA branch Traditional Pub of the Year 2019 and 2020. Freehold purchased by Ramsgate Brewery in mid 2025.
