Westerham - 500th Brew IPA | 4.80 | | Far too much piney, sappy, resinous hop in this for my taste. According to the website the current IPA is brewed with Target and Progress hops. My score 9/20. |

Popped in here for breakfast before heading to the South East SIBA festival. Quite busy with breakfasts.
Bend Brewing - Uncle Sam's Independence Ale | 4.70 | | A much better sample here, more rounded, mellow and mature with biscuity malt in evidence and a less harsh, citrus hop character that lingers in the finish. My score 16/20. |

Weltons - Heatwave | 4.60 | Not Tried | |

Social visit on a fairly busy Monday evening, with a birthday party in full swing.
Westerham - Finchcocks Original | 3.50 | | Delicately hopped with biscuity malt, this actually won the Mild category for SIBA South East a couple of years ago. It's a Southern version of Taylor Golden Best. My score 16/20. |
07 Jun 2009 (Martin the Mildman)
King Beer (formerly W.J. King) - Ace of Ales | 4.30 | | Golden with characteristic tangy malt/yeast taste common in King beers. Quite bitter in the finish. My score 14/20. |
