Stormy night with waves crashing over the break-waters. Another excellent selection of ales.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Moor - Unfined Confidence4.60ExcellentExcellent, hoppy (Simcoe??) unfined red ale.
Out There - Celestial Love5.10AcceptableToo much crystal and, I think, rye malt in this red ale for my taste.

After some dazzling cask beers recently there wasn't much of interest tonight. Luckily there was more than enough craft keg to choose from.
BeerABVScoreNotes
six°north - Hop Classic (keg)6.60ExcellentBack on form this was drying, bitter and hoppy. Served fresh and cool.

Pleasant and friendly.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Convivial. One new bar staff settling in really well. Greetings for incomers and managed the queue well.

Mostly locals 'enjoying' the football and the crack.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Tiny Rebel - FUBAR4.40GoodEnjoyable. Spicy hops shone through.
29 Nov 2013 (Ray)
Sometimes we take for granted how lucky we are to have one of the UK's great pubs on the door step.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Moor - So'Hop4.10ExcellentUncompromising. Unfined, unfiltered and bursting with hoppy bitterness.
Hawkshead - Lakeland Gold4.40Not Tried
22 Nov 2013 (McGargle)
Busy. One bar staff struggled to cope and resorted to the dreaded 'Who's next?' rather than managing the queue.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wild Beer Co. - Epic Saison5.00GoodMuch better than Rogue Wave. Fresh, tasty, refreshing but still timid in comparison to, say, Dupont. Different markets presumably?
Cromarty - Rogue Wave5.70GoodRestrained rather than full on. Good use of malts.
15 Nov 2013 (McGargle)
Mostly locals tonight. Craft keg just increased from £3.20 to £4.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Blackjack - Four of a Kind (keg)6.80ExcellentWell crafted big US style IPA.
10 Nov 2013 (McGargle)
Pleasantly busy. Regulars recovering from beer fest.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Buxton - High Tor6.30AcceptableA red IPA which would have benefitted from a warmer dispense (keg).
