Worthy winners of Aberdeenshire Pub of the Year.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Alechemy - Citra Burst5.40GoodSpicy with a touch of citrus.
Eden Mill (formerly Eden (St. Andrews)) - Seggie Porter5.20PoorNothing wrong with the dispense this is just a one dimensional (coffee), thin beer. Looked great though with it's foaming tan head.

Three dogs in the bar. All quiet and well behaved. Regular beers; Landlord, Deuchars and Six Deg. North Old School will not regularly be reported.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Cromarty - Rogue Wave5.70GoodMuch better than previously. This had strength to balance the hops.
Williams Brothers - Fraoch4.10Not Tried
Summer Wine (SWB) - Barista Espresso Stout4.80Not TriedSeems to have been 'on' for some time.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Moor - Unfined Confidence4.60ExcellentPerhaps less hoppy; but still bitter, brave, hazy and tasty.
19 Jan 2014 (McGargle)
Stormy night with waves crashing over the break-waters. Another excellent selection of ales.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Moor - Unfined Confidence4.60ExcellentExcellent, hoppy (Simcoe??) unfined red ale.
Out There - Celestial Love5.10AcceptableToo much crystal and, I think, rye malt in this red ale for my taste.

After some dazzling cask beers recently there wasn't much of interest tonight. Luckily there was more than enough craft keg to choose from.
