BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Bin End Pale4.80AcceptableStrong amber bitter with a high level of bittering hops giving a very bitter and hoppy beer. My score 14/20.
29 Jun 2012 (Stephen Harris)
Quite crowded, as expected on a Friday night. The CAMRA discount is back to 40p.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - El Hefe5.50GoodA Bavarian-style wheat beer, heavily hopped with Citra and Simcoe hops from the US. Golden and hazy, with a lingering bitter finish. But the hops totally dominate and you have to keep reminding yourself that you are drinking a wheat beer.

Brew Wharf - El Hefe5.50AcceptableBig citrus hop hit but of the bitter type making it not really to my taste. My score 13/20.

Brew Wharf - Fight For Your Rye3.80PoorThis didn't work for me, very bitter with a harsh hop character, not sure what happened to the Rye. My score 11/20.

On my own tonight and I sat inside enjoying a quiet pint, with half an eye on the TV football. Nearly forgot to claim my 30p CAMRA discount.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Fight For Your Rye3.80ExcellentA complex mix of malts and rye in this amber-coloured beer. Plus quite a heavy dose of southern hemisphere hops. The dominant flavour is tropical fruit, with the rye quite subtle.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Saints & Skinners So Cal Rye Ale5.00ExcellentA rare combination in a pale beer, both sweet and hoppy flavours without being overly malty or citrussy. Full bodied with a sweet, fruity finish. My score 16/20.
08 May 2012 (Stephen Harris)
At last, a mild evening, and it is warm enough to sit outside. The improved weather has drawn a reasonable crowd here on a Tuesday evening.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Cream Ale4.60GoodA golden coloured, slightly hazy beer. Light and creamy, with some oats in the mix, and fragrantly hoppy.
Brew Wharf - Saints & Skinners So Cal Rye Ale5.00GoodStaff apologised for the cloudy condition of this beer. It has a very fruity, US hop character, with a bit of a dry, rye burn at the end. An interesting combination, but all in my group felt they would have prefered it without the rye taste.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Calypso5.50AcceptableBitter and very highly hopped with floral tropical tasting hops, a little overdone for my taste. My score 13/20.
17 Apr 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - Pecan Brown5.20AcceptableRed in colour, quite bitter with a nutty malt flavour and some hop. Very dry finish. My score 13/20.
01 Apr 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
Very quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Only open between 1-3pm on this day.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brew Wharf - St Clement's Wheat5.00GoodA clear wheat beer with citrus hop dominating. Some sweetish malt for balance. My score 15/20.
Brew Wharf - Beehive Honey4.50AcceptableNew version of this to a higher strength and brewed with wheat. Quite bitter with little evidence of honey and a slight sourness from the wheat. My score 14/20.
